Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

This is your time to own a robotic vacuum. CNET's top-rated models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%.

robot-vacuum-mops-logo-text-black-png-original.jpgThe Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping using app-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.

The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's smartest robot vacuum to date. Its biggest advancement is an obstacle detection system that makes use of built-in AI to detect objects such as charging cords, shoes and the dreaded pet waste most other robots can't avoid (and often plough right through). It's also the first robot to automatically send you a picture of the object it comes across so that you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the best robot to mop we've ever tested, picking up spills and dirt effortlessly while leaving no trace it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. It can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't vacuum in areas you don't want. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it with a voice.

Its design is a step above the competition and features a sleek, top piece that looks more like a toy robot rather than a loud, loud one. And the Clean Base Automated Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying which is great to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests, we found that the j7+ quickly eliminated dirt, dust and pet hair. The rubber brushes that counter-rotate kept the debris in its place instead of scattering it on the automatic floor cleaners. It even managed to capture sand and small gravel, which most other robots can't. And it did all of this without getting caught in our pet's hair shedding.

Although it's not as smart as the Roomba s9+ Auto-Emptying Vacuum and can't clean stairs The j7+ is still an excellent choice for those who need a vac and a mop in their home. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable as other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a while to download updates, and it can be difficult to know whether they're working until you actually see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner that does more than just clean your floors then a hybrid is the best option. These robots come with a water tank so they can mop and vacuum at the same time. They also have a range of additional features, including smart mapping, small obstacles avoidance and even the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. The downside is that they can be expensive at retail price, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they often drop in price.

Roborock has some of our favorite robot vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. It's their most affordable auto vacuum cleaner-empty model, and while it's not equipped with some of the premium features found on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great option if you're willing sacrifice a bit to save a few hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is exceptionally gentle when it comes to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it a great choice for homes that have lots of furniture. It's also very thorough when it comes to getting rid of dust bunnies which is a place where many cheaper robot vacuums can really be a bit sloppy. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is fantastic and has very few missed corners and along walls.

The Q5+, like other Roborock products, can be controlled by a few buttons on the device, or via the Roborock App. Through the app, you can start and stop cleaning, set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones, and adjust your home map, or change the labels of rooms.

If you decide to go with the Q5+ model, it comes with a new auto-empty dock that's specifically designed to make this machine easy to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver however, once it's in place emptying the bin can be done without difficulty. It also comes with a large LCD display, which is nice to have when you're setting up schedules or altering settings. This feature isn't required for everyone, but it can help easily keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of mopping and vacuuming. Its design is one of the most innovative in the market however, it's costly.

The base station looks nice and is hidden when it's not in use, and the size is relatively compact. But the station's main selling point is how it automates many tasks and functions that most other robots leave up to you. It can store dirty and clean water and electrolyze and heat the water. Most other robovacs will require you to do this.

Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's the only robovac that I've tried that does a good job picking up dirt from floors that aren't. It's also not as loud as the expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly in the area of navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs, which means it can get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of your home. It also can't climb stairs like other models and isn't equipped with a docking station to create a clean zone for carpets with plush padding.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great choice for those who want an automated floor vacuum robot that can do everything.

If you're looking to save money or aren't averse to the limitations of the robot, there are many other options on the market. Many of the eufy models cost substantially less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for example, is cheaper and offers the same experience in the app, but with additional features such as stairs, a fully-function dock, and better overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac G30

eufy is an Anker company with an established track record of making robot vacuums that offer the perfect balance of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning of hard floors and mopping, carpets and other surfaces at an affordable price point. It's easy to setup, just snap one of the side brushes on, turn on and plug in the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock should be located close to an outlet that has plenty of space to move.

The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be precise and can be placed under couches and other furniture with a low clearance. Its design is a little less ostentatious than some rival models, sporting sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical: auto vacuum cleaner Cleaning start/pause, Recharge, and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs an area in spiral patterns for 2 minutes). It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.

The primary aspect that distinguishes the G30 apart from its competitors is the way it cleans. It makes use of an integrated map to draw an image of the immovable items that are in its path. It remembers the things it has cleaned and the areas it was unable to access. When it needs to recharge, it will automatically return to its base and resumes cleaning from where it left off.

The eufy G30 has a few flaws. The iRobot Roomba 675 is much better built, incurs lower recurring costs, charges faster and has a similar battery life while offering superior performance on floors that are unfinished and low-pile carpet. It also has a bigger dust bin that doesn't require to be emptied as often and comes with an array of boundary strips to restrict it from certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller size means that it doesn't need to be emptied as frequently, and it has less difficulty with bulky items such as cereal.
