Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuums and mops can be customized with an app that can save your home's maps setting cleaning schedules, and select mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power, and how much water your mop consumes.

A mapping feature can help your robot navigate through rooms while an obstacle avoidance function helps it avoid hitting wires, furniture, or even stray pet toys. These features are crucial in my house filled with toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum, which is why it's a natural choice to be with a host of features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and raise its brushes or mop pads so that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It can also avoid obstacles by finding pet toys, plants, and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is more than any other robot vac we've tested up to now. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation that tracks its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad of more than 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also has an automatic mop lifting mechanism, that will raise the pad when it goes from tile to laminate or hardwood to carpets and rugs to prevent getting soaked by these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. You can set it and forget about it. You only need to replenish the water tank or replace the dust bag on occasion.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard vac- and mop-settings for around 160 minutes before beginning to lose power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids I've tried.

It's a well-rounded and capable product, with the only downside being that it's expensive. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a very appealing option for anyone who wants to go away from their old stick vacuums and mop. We highly recommend this vacuum if you can justify its price.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot mop vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. The price is justified by the powerful features, including a large vacuuming capability and two gyrating mop heads. It comes with an app-enabled smart controller as well as an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is one of the highest robotic vacuum and mop combos available. In my tests, it performed well throughout the entire home. It removed 98.4% debris on all kinds of floors and managed to lift long hair without tangling. The mops also performed well in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion and an incredibly strong cleaning solution.

The L10S Ultra's main selling point is its advanced multifunctional docking station. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag that can be used for dirt, then refills the water tank to use for mopping and even dries mop pads. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its smart controls allow you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris compared to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tried. The mops on the L10S Ultra are not as effective in removing tough stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station needs to be emptied and the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads sold separately also need to be changed periodically.

Given the L10S Ultra's premium pricing and its extensive features I would highly recommend it to anyone with the funds for it. If you're on a budget I would suggest a less basic model that allows you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. It's important to note that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can find however, its price and ongoing maintenance will ultimately make it more of a want rather than a requirement.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that will clean up dust and dirt on your floors while cleaning up wet mess then look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combination has a powerful suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also has an enormous battery capacity that can be used for both vacuuming as well as mowing. And it is equipped with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It even comes with an automatic mop that cleans itself while moving and Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-clean to wash off the mop's pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs used in other robots. The roller is almost the entire length of the robot vacuums best and it is supplied with a continuous supply of fresh Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. While it spins the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro removes the dirty mop water into its base station, where it is sucked by the heater elements of the tank and empty into a larger storage container. The tank onboard can hold a good amount of water, and can take on up to a dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.

As with most robotic vacuums and mop combos, the S1 Pro is ready to take it out of the box. The S1 Pro does need to be filled with clean water. This can be done in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you opt for this option however, you'll have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands, allowing users to select their own choice of cleaning products.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, as did the majority of robots. It was quick to map the space and moved around furniture. The only issue is that it got stuck a few times on carpets with longer piles and rugs in my tests, but this may be improved when the software is upgraded. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that has a lot of functionality at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum however it has some outstanding features. The dock's multi-function function is emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks and washing and sanitizing mop pads is done by the dock. The mopping system is able to be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and other debris from carpets.

The application that runs this appliance is fairly complex, with a broad range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate a full map and take care to clean everything that is mapped by the device, or you can pick specific rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine you've set up. There are many mopping options which include SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the sensors on the mops to determine the most efficient method to tidy your home as it maps the space.

Like the other Roborock models we've examined The Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system is efficient in locating rooms quickly and cleaning in a neat manner. The default pathing setting is excellent at covering a room, leaving no gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, but it's not as advanced as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets with thick padding, but may not be able identify smaller objects like rug tassels and electrical wires.

robot-vacuum-mops-logo-text-black-png-original.jpgThis device has a major issue: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. There's a simple solution: the app offers a feature that lets you "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. This lets you use the mopping function of the vacuum to eliminate the last traces of debris and dust left behind by your vacuuming. This is a great feature that helps this robot vacuum cleaner best clean a little better than its cheaper competitors.
